Dr. Henry Silverman, MD, MA 

Dr. Henry Silverman is Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland Baltimore, USA. He studied medicine at The Johns Hopkins University (MD 1974) and received his MA Degree in Bioethics from Georgetown University in 1995.  He is program director of Fogarty/NIH research ethics training programs situated in the Middle East and Myanmar.

Dr. Hany Sleem 

Dr. Hany Sleem is a medical doctor and researcher based in Egypt. He is the coordinator of ENREC, The Egyptian Network of Research Ethics Committees which was created in 2008 to raise the harmonization between Research Ethics Committees (RECs) in reviewing research proposals and to augment sharing of information and intellectual resources, policies and review strategies.
